Line Pump Service
TDS Concrete, Inc. offers the convenience of a line pump.
Primary Application:
Pumping is an economical and reliable method of placing concrete in those "hard to reach" areas on large as well as small projects.
We can put concrete almost anywhere!
Pumping Rate:
In just four minutes, approximately one yard of concrete can be pumped with 100 ft. of 2" line. (conditions permitting)
Concrete Requirements:
A 4000 psi mix with a 3/8" crushed aggregate needs to be used for the line pump.
Yards of Concrete:
Not all the concrete in the pump hopper and pipeline can be pumped through. The consumer should therefore order ½ yard more of concrete than is needed.
Concrete Spillage:
Concrete pumping is not always a clean procedure. It can and often does result in concrete spilling and splashing. Therefore, all items and areas subject to contact with concrete should be appropriately protected.
Labor:
Consumer must provide sufficient labor to assemble, disassemble and move pipeline, and to man the end of the line during pumping. One or two people are normally sufficient for the 2" line. If consumer wishes to hire TDS Concrete labor, these arrangements must be approved in advance.
Washout:
Consumer needs to provide a sufficient place for washing down concrete mixer chutes and pump hopper.
